Why RankGrove exists
People stop at the answer.
Make sure they find you there.
For twenty years, visibility was a race for clicks: you wrote for Google, you counted rankings, you waited for traffic. Today, anyone looking for a supplier increasingly asks ChatGPT, Gemini or Perplexity, or reads Google's AI Overview at the top of the page, and stops right there. The race has moved inside the answer, and this page explains how you win it, with the sources in hand.
The shift, in numbers
These are measured figures, with the sources linked at the bottom of this page and collected in full on the sources page.
Clicks are halved
When Google shows an AI-generated answer, clicks through to websites drop from 15% to 8% of visits. And the links cited inside the answer are clicked in 1% of cases: whoever is in the answer gets read, whoever stays outside waits for a click that arrives ever more rarely. (Pew Research Center, 2025)
Getting cited is possible, and it is measured
The academic research that gave GEO its name measured that structure, citations and data inside content increase visibility in generated answers by up to 40%. The shape of your content decides who gets picked up. (Princeton, KDD 2024)
There is one conclusion: authority has to be built inside the AI platforms too, with the same care it has always taken on Google. And the most effective tool a company has for that is its blog: fresh, structured content on your own domain, exactly the material those answers draw on.
Our answer: four moves, on autopilot
1 · The map comes before the writing
From your company and your competitors, RankGrove builds the topic tree: the themes to own, the real questions your audience asks, the pages that sell and deserve a push. Every article is born with a place assigned to it.
2 · Reference guides and supporting articles
Pillar articles become the page everyone cites on a topic; the supporting pieces answer specific questions and point back to the pillar. That is how you truly own a topic.
3 · Authority flows through the links
Every article links to its neighbours in the topic tree and to the pages that sell. It is how a site tells search engines and AI: on this topic, we are the reference.
4 · The format AI picks up, fully compliant
TL;DR up front, table of contents, tables, FAQs with machine-readable markup: the structure the Princeton paper measured. And everything is compliant with the AI Act from the start, because RankGrove was born in Europe.
The operational detail is in How it works and in Features.
3 · The difference from an article generator
Asking a general-purpose AI for articles works for a single text. Building visibility takes a system: it is a matter of structure, consistency and technique, rather than individual pieces of writing.
| Article generator | RankGrove | |
|---|---|---|
| Plan | One article at a time, on request | A topic tree for your sector, built before any writing starts |
| Structure | Standalone texts with no links between them | Pillar + supporting articles + managed categories |
| Internal links | Added by hand | Automatic, inside the topic tree |
| Images | To be found or bought | Original, generated for every article |
| Publishing | Copy and paste into WordPress | Drafts straight into your WordPress, with a calendar |
| SEO technicals | Depends on whoever writes the prompt | Meta, schema, alt, canonical: included as standard and checked |
| Consistency | Lasts as long as your free time does | Day after day, on its own |
| AI Act and transparency | Left to you: compliance is your problem | Machine-readable marking, tracked approvals, transparency note you can switch on |
Clear terms
Serious promises hold up when you check them. Ours are three, and they work in both directions:
- Results take months. Organic rankings and AI citations are built with consistency: anyone promising you page one in days is selling you something else.
- Citations are grown; mathematical certainty we leave to others. We apply what research has actually measured: structure, data, sources, and we publish our own numbers, in the open, every month.
- The last word stays yours, if you want it. The system writes and publishes on its own; approving, editing or stopping is always your right, with one click.
The proof is in the work
